Lauren Katharine "LoLo" Uecker

Lauren Katharine “LoLo” Uecker, age 29, of Fond du Lac, died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was born in Fond du Lac on July 4, 1995, the only daughter of Stephen “Steve” and Lynne (Habeck) Uecker. A graduate of Fond du Lac High School, Lauren attended UW – Stevens Point, later transferring to UW – Milwaukee where she remains just a few credits shy of graduating. 

Lauren was her own person. Much like her father, she possessed great wit and comedic timing. She was a loud and ruthless fan of the Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Blackhawks, and Boston Celtics. Lauren had a passion for cooking, and pleasing others with her culinary arts while listening to Frank Sinatra. However, when she wasn’t serving others, you could find her somewhere warm and sunny with a free drink in her hand. Her contagious sense of humor, and deep man voice could fill a room. She loved time spent with her nephew, and nieces. Lauren looked forward to every summer frying fish during Walleye Weekend alongside her father and other members of the Lakeside Evening Kiwanis. 

Lauren is survived by her parents, Steve and Lynne, brothers, Cameron Uecker, Stephen Uecker, and Lee Uecker (fiancée, Lisa Bednarek); nephew, Oliver Uecker, and nieces, HannahLee, Adalyn, and Gracelyn Uecker; close family friends, Chuck and Amy Weber, Steve and Lori Meress, and Steve Peterson and his wife, Lisa Washa. Lastly, her best buddy, Zeus aka Goose, Kook-Kook, Chicken Nugget Butt, and Noodle. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Harold and Marjorie (Moore) Uecker, maternal grandparents, Arthur “Art” and Adelaide “Kit” (Warren) Habeck, and her uncle, Roger Habeck. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2024, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, in Fond du Lac. Visitation at church will begin at 11:00 AM and will continue until the time of service. Cremation will follow the service.

A memorial will be established in Lauren’s name.
