Laurie J. Frey

Laurie J. Frey, age 61, of Green Bay, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay. She was born on September 19, 1955 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Robert and Beverly (Sampson) Essmann. Laurie enjoyed knitting, baking, cooking, her cats, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.



Survivors include 3 children, Michael Frey of Green Bay, Amanda (Ben) Frey of Green Bay, Robert Frey of Green Bay; four grandchildren, Blake, Tyler, Elena, and Arianna; her siblings, Judy (Leonard) Uebel of Fairwater, Rick (Judy) Essmann of Fond du Lac, John (Sheri) Essmann of Fond du Lac, Patty Theama of Fond du Lac; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Barbara Ruedinger, Mary Willie, Betty Spallas, and Robert Essmann.



Visitation will take place on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Friends will be invited to share memories of Laurie at 7 PM. Cremation has taken place.



In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family.
