Laurine F. Solfest

Laurine F. Solfest, age 65, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her residence. She was born on March 21, 1950 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Douglas and Jalaine (LaBuwi) Thorp. She worked for Fond du Lac County Social Services and for the State of Wisconsin. Laurine enjoyed music, dancing, bingo, reading, crocheting, and especially spending time with her family.



SURVIVORS: three children, Richard Forsyth, Sharonna (Scott) Forsyth-Carlson, and Heather (Mark) Zevik all of Fond du Lac; two granddaughters, Kennedy Duley and Brianna Zevik; one grandson, Jackson Berner; two brothers, Ricahrd and Douglas Thorp; one sister, Vicki (Mark) Brown; special friend Pete; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Jalaine Thorp; her husband Duane Solfest; one sister, Patricia Blake.



VISITATION: Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 3-6 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Family and friends are invited to share memories of Laurine following the visitation at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.
