Laverna M. Jacky

Laverna M. Jacky, age 93, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on December 2, 1920 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Oscar and Anna (Simon) Jacky. Laverna worked at Huber Paint and Glass earlier in her life. She loved the outdoors, and she spent many hours weeding and caring for her large vegetable garden. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and canning vegetables from her garden. She was an extremely devout Catholic and a member of Holy Family Parish.



SURVIVORS: seven nieces and nephews, special nephew Don (Susan) Diedrich of Fond du La, Robert (Rosie) Loehr of St. Cloud, Richard (Gwen) Loehr of Glenbeulah, Janise (Paul) Burkart of Medina, TN, Cheryl (Pat) O’Hearn of North Fond du Lac, Susan (Edward) Dotski of Poynette, and Thomas Spaeth of Poynette, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Dolores Spaeth, Rosine Diedrich, and Marie Loehr, one brother, Merlin Jacky.
