Laverne E. Malson

LaVerne E. Malson, age 95, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at ManorCare Health Services. She was born on September 11, 1918 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Claude and Mabel (Fairbanks) Boudry. On August 18, 1951 she married George S. Malson in Berlin. LaVerne was the owner and operator of Peggy's Cottage Restaurant in North Fond du Lac. SURVIVORS: three children, Joanne (Warren) Laffin of Woodruff, WI; James (Paula) Gysbers of Sparta, TN; Joyce Passon of Van Dyne; eleven grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Mathwig of Oshkosh, Marjorie Pierce of Fond du Lac, Grace Bates of Fond du Lac, and Virginia Kairis, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Frank and Lawrence "Bud" Boudry, one son in law, Jeff Passon.



VISITATION: Monday, April 14, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935.
