Laverne G. Hesprich

Laverne Grace (Grusnick) Hesprich, 79, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Aurora Medical Center, Oshkosh. She was born April 1, 1929 in Oshkosh, the daughter of George Albert and Stella (Michels) Grusnick. On November 18, 1950 she married her husband Francis W. Hesprich of 58 years at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waupun. Laverne was a member of Church of the Presentation, North Fond du Lac. She worked for Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun, Hope Nursing Home, Lomira and volunteered at blood banks and other medical events. After retirement Laverne and Francis enjoyed spending the winters in Yuma, AZ. Laverne enjoyed playing bingo, cards, yahtzee, reading westerns, collecting angels and especially loved time with her family and friends.SURVIVORS: her husband, Francis; her children, Jeanne (Joe Binkley) Hesprich, Oshkosh, Mary Kay (Mark) Christie, Madison, Barbara Hesprich, Fairbault, MN, Steven (Kim) Hesprich, Centennial, CO, David (Annie) Hesprich, Byron; two sisters, Virginia Krause, Fond du Lac, Rosemary (Marian) Detweiler, Williamsburg, IA; her in-laws, Rita Grusnick, Fond du Lac, Ray (Hilda) Hesprich, Marion, WI, Germaine (Art) Brennan, Kenosha, WI, Tony Hesprich, Lomira, WI, Dorothy Becker, Loyal, WI, Louise Held, Rubicon, WI; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two week old infant son, Robert John Hesprich; one brother, George; one sister, Marjorie Rechek; her father and mother-in-law; five brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 9:30 "“ 10:30 AM at church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Church of the Presentation, North Fond du Lac with Rev. John Simon officiating.
