Lawrence E. "Larry" Klintworth, 88 of North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1923 in Taycheedah the son of William and Marian Crist Klintworth. On January 17, 1948 he married Donna J. Zimmerman at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran by Reverend Stecker. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army serving in Germany from 1942 to 1945. Larry was with the 304th Infantry and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a semi-truck driver for Spector Freight Company and later Dean Food's. He drove semi for 40 years retiring in 1986. Larry enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was a past member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie No.270 and the Teamsters Union.SURVIVOR: Larry is survived by his wife Donna Klintworth, North Fond du Lac five children, Dale Klintworth, Merritt Island, FL, Bruce (Debbie) Klintworth, Kansas City, MO, Guy (Sue) Klintworth, Taycheedah, Joy (Roy) Murdock, Anacortes, WA, Wendy (David) King, North Fond du Lac, fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one brother Kenneth(Carol) Klintworth , Oshkosh nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Jill, and a brother William Jr.
At Larry's request there will private family visitation and services on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Reverend Robert Rosenberg will officiate.
