Lee G. Anderson, 82, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1928 in Merrill, WI, the son of John and Myrtle Schmackenburg Anderson. Lee was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving from 1950 "“ 1952 in the Korean War. He married Sally A. Richardson on June 17, 1967 at Cathedral of St. Paul, Fond du Lac. Lee drove truck for the Milwaukee Postal Service for 38 years. He also owned and operated Lee's Service in Fond du Lac for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, glass etching and loved gardening.SURVIVORS: his wife, Sally; one son, Mark (Tammy) Anderson, Fond du Lac; one grandson, Griffin Anderson; three sisters, Betty Wolf, Fond du Lac, Jane (Jerry) Boyce, OH, Kay Moor, Anchorage, AK; three sisters-in-law, Joy (Karl) Uhlig, Eden, Carol Richardson, Fond du Lac, Dorothy Anderson, MA; two brothers-in-law, Bill (Sandy) Richardson, North Fond du Lac, Donald Richardson, Neshkoro; his best friend, his cat, Hobo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary (Norman) Thome; two brothers, John Anderson, Robert Anderson; one brother-in-law, Ronnie Richardson.



VISITATION: will be from 10:30 "“ 11:30 on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Cathedral of St. Paul, 51 West Division Street, Fond du Lac. The Memorial Eucharist Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Cathedral of St. Paul with The Very Reverend Brian Beno officiating. Inurnment will take place at Cathedral of St. Paul Columbarium.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
