Lee Patt

Lee Patt, 86, of the Town of Friendship, died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at his residence. He was born June 5, 1926, in Fond du Lac, the son of John F. and Emma Draves Patt. He was a 1944 graduate of North Fond du Lac High School. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps serving during WW II. On May 15, 1948, he married the love of his life, Germaine R. Kubelt at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. He was formerly employed by Soo Line Railroad, Rueping Leather, and Mercury Marine. He then received an apprenticeship as a carpenter starting with Hutter Construction and was later promoted to superintendant at Ben B. Ganther Construction. He retired from Fluor Brothers Construction in 1990. Lee was a lifelong member of Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a founding director of the Van Dyne Sportsmans Club, and taught hunter safety for 50 years. He was a member of the North Fond du Lac Rod & Gun Club, the North Fond du Lac Archery Club, a founding director for the Southwest Chapter of Sturgeon for Tomorrow, a member of the Carpenters Union Local #731, and proud member of the NRA. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing, archery golf, and gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Germaine, three sons, Jim (Gail) Patt of North Fond du Lac, Jeff Patt of Gladwin, MI, and Dan (Kari) Patt of North Fond du Lac, a daughter, Vickie (Ron) Goldapske of Van Dyne, seven grandchildren, Becky (Special Friend Sig), Ryan (Jessica), Jesse, Casey, Dusty ( Fiancé Tammy), Grace, and Jackson, and three great-grandchildren, Drake, Caledon, and Camden. He is further survived by a sister, Barb Jacobson of Van Dyne, and other relatives and friends. His parents, two brothers, Chris and Orv, and three sisters, Edna Schuman, Delores Rimel, and Della Tolefson, preceded him in death.



Visitation for Lee Patt will be on Monday, February 11, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Tuesday, February 12th from 9 to 10:30. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM at the funeral home on Tuesday. Reverends Shari Routh and Michael Morning will officiate and burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
