Leland G. Tuxhorn

Leland "Lee" G. Tuxhorn, 71, of 290 Wilson Avenue, Fond du Lac, died Friday, January 28, 2011, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born August 15, 1939, in New Rome, WI, the son of Arthur H. and Hazel I. Lingford Tuxhorn. On November 29, 1958, he married Gladys E. Hebert at the Church of Peace. Lee was formerly employed by the City of Fond du Lac for 31 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed crafting, fishing, and going to Oneida. Surviving is his wife, Gladys, a son, Donald (Janet) Tuxhorn of Edwardsburg, MI, three grandchildren, Jennifer Myers, Ryan Tuxhorn, and Jessica (Troy) Bradburn, five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Braden, and Cailey Myers, Taryn Tuxhorn, and Aydin Bradburn. He is further survived by a sister, Maxine Knaack of Fond du Lac, nine aunts and uncles from an original family of 14 children, and many friends. His parents, two infant daughters, two infant sons,and a sister, Myrene Wojkiewicz preceded him in death.



Per Lee's request, there will be no services. Cremation will take place with inurnment in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
