Leo F. Brockway

Leo F. Brockway, 82, of Fond du Lac died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at ManorCare Health Services. He was born the son of Andrew and Claira Bessey Brockway on November 20, 1926 in Fond du Lac. Leo married Mary Ann Muth in 1952 in West Allis, WI and she preceded him in death on October 11, 1968. He was a member of Church of the Presentation, North Fond du Lac. Leo worked as a chef for the Colony Restaurant for over 30 years retiring in 2000. SURVIVORS: one son, Michael (Judy) Brockway, Kiel; one granddaughter, Nicole (Jason) Schmelter, Plymouth; one grandson, Jason (Jenny) Brockway, Kiel; two great granddaughters, Isabel Schmelter and Lillie Brockway. He is further survived by one brother, George Brockway, Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, Elizabeth 'Bess' Prellwitz and Edna Vossekuil.



VISITATION: will be from 4 "“ 8 PM on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again from 9 "“ 10 AM on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Church of the Presentation, North Fond du Lac with Rev. John Simon officiating.
