Leo Lefeber

Leo Lefeber, 87 formerly of N8809 Gladstone Beach, and a resident of 519 Luco Road, Lakeview Estates,died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on April 23,1919 in the Town of Marshfield, Fond du Lac County the son of Joseph J. and Gertrude Horn Lefeber. On January 31,1940 hemarried Adeline A. Sabel at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. Leo owned and operated a dairy farm east of Johnsburg for 35 years retiring in 1977. He was a life-long Fond du Lac County resident. He was a member of Holy Family-St. Peter's Church, St. Peter. He bowled in leagues at Parkway and Ledgeview Lanes.Leo enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, flowers and bowling.Surviviors include his wife Adeline Lefeber, a resident of Villa Lorretto Nursing Home, Mt .Calvary, ten children, Leo(Margaret) Lefeber, Van Dyne, Donald (Marilyn) Lefeber, Mt. Calvary , Robert (fiancé Cheryl) Lefeber, Fond du Lac, David (Ruth) Lefeber, Cassville, Thomas (Kathy) Lefeber, Kiel, Mary Lou (Robert) Blattner, Fond du Lac, Laura (Gary) Elonen, Kiel, Joseph (Sheri) Lefeber, Fond du Lac, Jerome Lefeber, San Diego, CA, Linda (fiancé Trent Staerker) Lefeber, Fond du Lac, 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, one brother, Roy (Florence) Lefeber, St. Joe, two sisters, Mildred Schaefer, Mt. Calvary, and Esther Salmon, Green Bay. He was preceded in death by his parents, a great-grandson, and one brother Ervin.



Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of The Word Service will be held Friday, March 16, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
