Leslie L. Morse, age 90 of 141 Rose Avenue, and a resident of Harbor Suites died Friday May 9, 2008. He was born in Kooching, Minnesota the son of Floyd M. and Daisy B. Copeland Morse. Leslie was a veteran of World War II. Serving in the U. S. Army in the Philippines in Company 716 Tank Battalion. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a dairy farmer in the Rogersville area for about 20 years and worked for the City of Fond du Lac for 13 years as a diesel mechanic retiring in 1983. Leslie was a mechanic for over 50 years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, and giving a hand to his daughters when in the time of need. Leslie married Mildred C. Torkelson and they had four children, Lanna Schulze, Lesley (Ron) Demler, Mary (Tom) Krenn all of Fond du Lac, and Roxanne (Jeffrey) Jilek, Williams Bay, WI. He is further survived by six grandchildren, Eric Morse, Ryan (Noel) Deibert, Jennifer (Dallas) Vande Slunt, Tara (Tim) Brenner, William and Taylor Krenn. Two sisters also survive Myrtle Seefelt, Fond du Lac, and Beulah Crapeau, Appleton. He was preceded in death by parents, a grandson, Chad Deibert, and a brother-in-law Phil Crapeau.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, May 12, 2008 from 10:30 A. M. to 1:30 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave., Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Reverend Shari Routh officiating. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post No. 75 will conduct military services.The Family Wishes To Extend A Special Thanks To Dr. Schaten, The Staff At Harbor Suites Assisted Living and Hospice For Their Care and Concern.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
