Lewis E. Henry

Lewis “Pete” E. Henry, 87, passed away quietly, surrounded by his family at Crossroads Care Center on October 20, 2021. He was born December 6, 1934 in Kentucky to John and Anna Henry. Pete served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Giddings & Lewis in Fond du Lac. Pete was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing, sturgeon spearing, and hunting. In later years, he enjoyed watching the Brewers and the Packers. He was a member of Eagle Aeries #275 in Fond du Lac.



He is survived by his children, Richard (Deb) Henry of Fond du Lac, Cheryl Depp of Madison, Michael (Anne) Henry of Fond du Lac, Geri (Larry) Lapinski of Milwaukee, Sandra (Phil) Munoz of Fond du Lac, Shaunnua (Tom) Maierhafer of Oshkosh, and Megan (Bill) Robarge of Juneau. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Dan Henry, Jerry Henry, and Jackie Johnson, all of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Peter Henry; ex-wife, Alice; brother, Franklin Henry; and sister, Dorlene Grant.



A visitation will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
