Lida F. Babler

Lida F. Babler, 97, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 30, 2007 in Neenah, WI after a short illness. She was born September 16, 1910 in the town of Blackwolf, Winnebago County, the daughter of John and Anna Knack Babler. She moved to Fond du Lac in 1948 and was employed at Infant Socks and Wells Manufacturing, retiring in 1975. Lida was a lifetime member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Van Dyne. Lida loved to dance and cook and since the age of eight helped her family on the farm. She cared for her siblings Erma, Herbert, and Art Babler who preceded her in death as did her parents.SURVIVORS: include many cousins and an aunt, Viola Knack.



VISITATION: will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 1 "“3 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Lester Fritz officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Zion Cemetery, Town of Blackwolf.Lida will be sadly missed by her caregivers, Mary McChain Kugler and Kim Kugler.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
