Lillian C. Laborde

Lillian C. LaBorde, age 98, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Walnut Grove Suites. She was born on November 23, 1914 in St. Peter, the daughter of John and Anna (Freund) Bartel. On August 28, 1937 she married Walter E. LaBorde at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2006. Lillian graduated from Fond du Lac High School. She then graduated from cosmetology school in Milwaukee and worked for a few years as a beautician in Fond du Lac. Lillian enjoyed playing cards and knitting. She loved watching and going to baseball games, she especially loved the Chicago Cubs.SURVIVORS: one sister in law, Alice LaBorde of Merrill, WI, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter, one infant son, and one brother, Ervin Bartel, sister in law, Adell Bartel, sister in law, Lillian Diedrich, brother in law, Wayne LaBorde



VISITATION: Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 12 noon at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Trunk K, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12 noon at the mausoleum with Reverend Edward Sippel officiating. Cremation has taken place.
