Lillian M. Fox

Lillian M. Fox, 87, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 7, 1926 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William J. and Lillian G. O'Laughlin Fox. Lillian graduated from St. Mary Springs High School in 1945 and graduated from Marian College in 1949 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. Lillian taught elementary school in Neenah, Sheboygan Falls, and West Bend. She later taught at Moraine Park Technical College until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and a past secretary of AFLCIO. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, Irish history, genealogy, bird watching, and introducing her family to the performing arts.In 1972 Lillian's brother, William Leo's wife, Patricia died suddenly at the age of 44. Lillian became a mother to William's four children. Lillian has been very supportive of her nieces and nephews and has been a grandmother to Julia's children.Lillian is survived by her nieces and nephews, Peter Fox, Steven Fox, Julia Breister, all of Fond du Lac, and Robert Fox, St. Anthony, MN; great nieces and nephews, Patricia Breister, Richard (Nellie) Breister, and Elizabeth Breister; two great grand nieces, Peyton and Callie Breister. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brother, William Leo (Patricia) and Donald.



The visitation will be held from 11:30 am "“ 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Sacred Heart Church.
