Lillian M. Kraus

Lillian M. Kraus, age 85, originally from St. Peter, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was born on June 14, 1930 in St. Peter, the daughter of Albert and Martha (Schneider) Koenigs. On October 19, 1949 she married Wilbert Kraus at Holy Cross Church in Mt. Calvary. Lillian enjoyed traveling over the years with her husband abroad and to all fifty states. She loved her family and she really enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.



SURVIVORS: her husband Wilbert of Fond du Lac; nine children, Bob Kraus of Fond du Lac, Paul Kraus of Safford, AZ, Dan (Karen) Kraus of Fond du Lac, Diane (James) Stepp of Fond du Lac, Ken (Cindy) Kraus of Fond du Lac, Sharon Pelot of Fond du Lac, LuAnn (Dan) Bauer of Fond du Lac, Renee (Jim) Michels of North Fond du Lac, Steve (Traci) Kraus of North Fond du Lac; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jane (Ben) Kraus of Fond du Lac; sisters in law, Betty Koenigs of Fond du Lac and Genevieve Kraus of Mt. Calvary; brother in law, Louis Piazzon of IA, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Richard, Michael, and William; daughter in law Patty Kraus; two brothers, Francis and Paul Koenigs; one sister, Sally Piazzon; and numerous brothers in law and sisters in law.



VISITATION: Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter’s Church-Holy Family, N8079 Church Rd, Malone, WI. Visitation will also take place on Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery.
