Lillian S. (Hill) Graham, 94, was called to her Heavenly home on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at St. Francis Home. She was born on February 21, 1924 in Rudyard, MI, daughter of Charles and Ellen (Harju) Hill. She was baptized and confirmed at St. James Lutheran Church in Rudyard, MI.On August 14, 1945 she married Chester J. Graham at St. Joseph Catholic Church rectory in Rudyard. She became a member of Nativity Catholic Church where she was active in the ladies society
In 1967, she and Chester relocated to Fond du Lac and she was employed as a bookkeeper for Hutter Construction and Stodola Maas Construction. Upon her retirement, she worked part time at Options Salon as a bookkeeper.She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Holy Family Parish. She was active in the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and Elks Ladies.In 2012, she reaffirmed her Lutheran faith and became a member of Hope Lutheran Church.She enjoyed knitting, bowling, playing cards, baking and cooking, especially for her family on Sundays.
She was a loving and devoted Mother to her daughter, Dianne (Ray) Mullenix Tadgerson of DeWitt, MI and her son, John (Carol) Graham of Fond du Lac; she was a loving Nana to her grandchildren, Shaun (Kim) Mullenix, Cale (Jaimee) Mullenix, and Ryan (Kari) Graham; her great grandchildren, Kirsten and Brett Stuck, Kian O’Laughlin, Miah and Tanner Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester; in laws, John and Dorothy Graham; son-in-law, Michael Mullenix; grandson, Michael Burns Mullenix II; granddaughter, Brooke Ellen Graham; her siblings, Irene (Wilhart) Nayback, Edward (Ann) Hill, Ernest (Aune) Hill, and Harold Hill; and sisters-in-law, Agnes (Leo) St. Peter and Grace (Archie) Piche.
Those who will cherish her memory are dear friends, Patty (Pat) Vogds, Kathy (Winnie) Fink, Ann Koepke, and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Wilkens officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank St. Francis Home and Hospice Hope for the loving care that was given to Lillian.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice Hope – Fond du Lac or Hope Lutheran Ladies Guild in Lillian’s name.
