Linda Lynn Funk

Linda "Lynn" Funk, 61, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, December 2, 2007, at home, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Lynn was born in Wilson, Arkansas, December 29, 1945, the daughter of Alphonse and Helen Hovator Metz. Lynn was a loving mother, sister, grandma, and great grandma. She loved her grandchildren deeply. Her belief in God brought her through her trials and tribulations during her battle with cancer. She loved to cook and bake, and travel with her fiancé, Roger. Lynn was a licensed practical nurse and a registered representative of Harbor Investments and a representative of Equitable Reserve Association.Lynn is survived by her beautiful children, Curtis Schmidt of Waupun, Diane (Neal) Van Buren of Fox Lake, fiancé, Roger Zuleger of Fond du Lac, grandchildren Laurie Schmidt, Karie Schmidt, Carley Schmidt of Waupun, Clint Van Buren of Fox Lake, great-granddaughter, Amber of Waupun, sister Marlene (Gary) Feucht of Fond du Lac, and aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter Cynthia Schmidt Groechl, a sister Arlene Metz Hamlin, and a brother, David Metz.



Visitation for Mrs. Linda "Lynn" Funk will be on Thursday, December 6, 2007, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 7, 2007, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The Rev. Alan Schaffmeyer will officiate and cremation will follow.
