Lisa M. “Grammy Yellow” Jost, age 61, formerly of Fond du Lac, currently of Kaukauna, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton due to complications from Covid-19. She was born on April 17, 1960, the daughter of Joseph and Gertrude “Trudy” (Bruesewitz) Jost. Lisa worked at Shopko in Fond du Lac for many years and currently worked at Home Depot. She enjoyed camping and Friday fish fry’s. “Grammy Yellow” loved her six grandchildren more than anything and was always spending time with them. Lisa was always there as a mother to her two girls, and she lived by the motto was “Be the best version of you!”
Survivors include two daughters, Shawna (Joe Masteller) Russell, and Colleen (Matt) Harmer; six grandchildren, Austyn, Adalynn, Ashlyn, Mariska, Kenzie, William; her sisters, Linda (Henry) Verfuerth, Kathy Johnson; her brothers, Steven Jost and Leon Jost; her birth mother, Donna Johnson; her former husband, Mark Stuck Jr.; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Dick Stuck; former in-laws, Mark and Elaine Stuck Sr.; one grandchild before birth, “Poppy Seed.”
Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow the visitation at church at 1:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Everyone is encouraged to wear yellow in remembrance of Lisa as it was her favorite color.
Masks are required in accordance with church policy.
