Lois B. Schroeder

Lois B. Schroeder, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born October 16, 1922 in West Allis, the daughter of Joseph and Adelle Chartrand Reimer. On July 20, 1942 she married Gordon L. Schroeder in Milwaukee and he preceded her in death on November 17, 1976. Lois owned and operated the Credit Bureau of Fond du Lac for 18 years and retired in 1994. She was a member of the Altrusa Club and volunteered many hours and E.A.A. She enjoyed reading, golfing, and traveling in her motor home.



She is survived by one daughter, Marcy (Mike Hauck) Schroeder of Fond du Lac; one grandson, Gus (fiancé, Lisa Ericksen) Schroeder of Fond du Lac; special friends, Lesa (Jeff) Bednarek, Corey (Julie) Hauck, and Gale (Earl) Degner; nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Merle Reimer; three sisters, Lorraine Baker, Hope Roden, and Doris Huck.



Private family graveside services will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.



The family extends a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Fond du Lac Lutheran Home and Agnesian Hospice and especially to Dr. Sergi for the wonderful care given to Lois over the years.
