Lois M. Nelson, 80, formerly of 300 Lexington Avenue, and currently a resident of St. Francis Home, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006. She was born July 23, 1925, in St. Paul, Minnesota, a daughter of Judd and Bertha Pierce White. On April 27, 1946, she married Thomas J. Nelson in St. Paul, MN. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1975. Mrs. Nelson was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Louis Church. She was formerly employed by the City of Fond du Lac Police Department as a radio dispatcher for 17 years, retiring in 1987.Surviving are three sons, Gregory (Lynne) Nelson of Beaver Dam, Jeffrey (Mary Jo) Nelson of Fond du Lac, and Stephen (Peggy) Nelson of Jackson, WI, three daughters, Susan (Allan) Koehler of Fond du Lac, Sandra (William) Jacobs of Eagle River, WI, and Janet (Thomas) Lamb of Van Dyne, 16 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Florence Grape of St. Paul, MN. Her parents, husband, and a sister, Helen, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Mrs. Lois M. Nelson will be on Thursday, January 12, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 13, 2005, at 10 am from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am from Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church. The Rev.
