Loretta Marie "Babe" (Pitsch) Myrechuck, age 84, formerly of 342 Grove St, Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 26, 2006 in the home of her daughter Joanne Myrechuck-Kuklinski in Beaver Dam, WI. She was born to George Pitsch and Cecelia Coenen on February 19, 1922 in Greenleaf and grew up in Wrightstown, WI. During World War II, Loretta worked in Milwaukee in the paint department of A.O. Smith, masking the portions of military bomber aircraft components, which were to be protected in the painting process. She began writing to Joseph Myrechuck during WWII. After the war Loretta and Joe became close and on February 16, 1946 they were married at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. In 1959 Loretta was employed by Wells Manufacturing and worked there until she retired in 1984. On April 9, 1991, after forty-five wonderful years of marriage, Joe passed away due to a heart attack suffered while recuperating from prostate surgery. She continued to live independently for twelve years. Loretta recently has been living with her daughter, Joanne in Beaver Dam.She was the loving mother of Joanne (Marc) Kuklinski and John (Deborah) Myrechuck, grandmother to Angela and Jay Myrechuck. Sister of the late Gladys (Donald) Stearns, who passed away November 1, 1988. Aunt of James R. Stearns, Patricia A. Ganzel, Nancy J. Christie and Robert J. Stearns, further survived by other relatives and friends.
VISITATION: Friday, March 3, 2006 from 4-6 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Friday, March 3, 2006 at 6:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiating. Entombment will take place at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations appreciated to Hillside Hospice Care, Dodge Health Foundation Inc, 711 S.
