Lori Lee Garbisch

Lori L. Garbisch, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, October 14, 2013, at St. Agnes Hospital following a short battle with cancer. She was born September 7, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Robert and Donna Lefeber Immel. Lori was a graduate of Campbellsport High School. She received her Associates Degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac where she was Valedictorian. She later received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marian University where she was on the Marian University Alumni Board. On June 8, 1996, she married Darin J. Garbisch in Fond du Lac. Lori was employed by the Ford Modeling Agency of Chicago. As a very community-minded individual, she was a member of Morning Rotary Club, PEO, Fond du Lac Community Theater, Windhover /Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts Board of Directors, Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership, FDL Festivals, Fond du Lac Area Woman's Fund, Habitat for Humanity, several book clubs, Women in Management, and the Fond du Lac Soroptimist Club. Surviving is her husband, Darin, two daughters, Marissa Maney, a student at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and Angelica Maney, a student at University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac, a sister, Karen (Dan) Klumpyan of Mt. Calvary, two brothers, Gary (Mary) Immel of Eden, and Eric (Heidi) Immel of Fond du Lac, nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Greg) Schmitz, Jay Bob, Sam and Sara Immel, Charlie, Brady, and Easton Immel, and a great niece, Dorothy Ruth Schmitz. She was preceded in death by her parents.



Visitation for Lori L. Garbisch will be on Friday, October 18, 2013, from 2 to 6 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 6 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment of cremated remains will be in the Town of Empire Cemetery at a later date. A memorial has been established in Lori's name.
