Lorna A. Sweet

Lorna A. Sweet, age 97 a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the home. She was born on January 24, 1911 in Batavia, WI the daughter of Robert and Anna Koepke Ludwig. On June 14, 1932 she married Henry W. Sweet. Henry preceded her in death in November 1967. At one time Lorna was employed at Flood Real-estate. She was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church.She is survived by two children, a son Henry "Steve" (Carla) Sweet, North Fond du Lac, and a daughter, Sarah Sweet, Cedarburg, two grandchildren, Henry "Michael" (Julie) Sweet, Wales, WI and Ann Marie (Ted) Collier, Monet, Missouri, two great-grandchildren Hannah and Emma Sweet. A sister, Clara White, Missoula, Montana, further survives Lorna. Her parents, a grandson, Joel, and three sisters preceded her in death.



At Lorna's request there will be no visitation or funeral services. Private family inurnment services will be held at Rienzi Cemetery. Reverend Alan Schaffmeyer will officiate.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
