Lorraine Dorothy Thill, 89, died peacefully on Tuesday, July30, 2012, at Ivy Manor Assisted Living in Campbellsport, WI. She was born August 3, 1922, in Fond du Lac, WI, to Ernest and Francis Johnson Norenberg. She was a member of the Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. On November 15, 1941, she married Robert Thill. The couple lived for a short time on the Thill family farm in Oakfield, WI, and then moved to Fond du Lac near the Norenberg family home on Bell Street and lived several places on that street until 2007 when they moved to Campbellsport. They had 18 brothers and sisters between the two of them and spent most of their lives close to family.Lorraine enjoyed children. She would read to them, make up games, songs, and plays for them to act out for the neighbors. She always had a novel she was reading, and she liked to knit things for the grandchildren and for the Church of Peace Bazaars. She enjoyed entertaining her family and friends at home and at their cottage on Porters Lake near Wautoma, WI.Lorraine is survived by two daughters: Beverly (Alex) Iloncaie of Campbellsport and Barbara (Alan) Fogle of Centerville, IA. five grandchildren: Kim (Dave) Goldsmith of Edgerton, WI; Scott (Jane)Iloncaie of East Troy, WI; Troy (Tammy)Iloncaie of Pickett, WI; Steve (Leona) Fogle of Centerville IA; and Michelle (Michael) Moore of Centerville IA. Thirteen great grandchildren and one great grandson-in-law. One brother: Gerald (Betty) Norenberg of Fond du Lac. Two sisters; Sally (Roger) Curtis of Columbus, WI, and Patsy Lefeber of Fond du Lac. Seven sisters-in law: Janet (Donald) Norenberg, Jean (Dale) Norenberg, Mary Jane (Ray) Thill, Dorothy (Oscar) Franke, Judy (Ray) Ballwanz, Barbara (Eugene) Thill, and Ona (Bill) Thill. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, and her extended family of caretakers at Ivy Manor.Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert; five brothers: Earl, Eugene, Randolph, Donald, and Dale Norenberg; two sisters: Betty (Don) Zwicky and Jeanne (Edgar) LaFrancois.



Visitation: will be held at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 9:30 to 11 am. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am with the Reverends Jennifer C. M. Dawson and James F. D. Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Additional information and guestbook may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com.
