Lorraine M. Jacobitz

Lorraine M. Jacobitz, age 83, formerly of 60, Mockingbird Lane, North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 16, 1924 in Ripon the daughter of Matthew and Margaret (Lambert) Klawitter. On December 24, 1948 she married Raymond C. Jacobitz in Fond du Lac. Lorraine held various factory positions and worked at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home. She retired from the Fond du Lac County Sheriffs Department as process server. In 1994 she got "Chelsea" her Seeing Eye dog. Lorraine was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 270. She enjoyed golf, shooting pool, bowling, collecting dolls, and sewing.SURVIVORS: three daughters, Vickie (Bret) Taplin of Stevens Point, WI, Jane Blanchard of Amherst, WI, Jarelyn (Daniel) Rohde of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Jason Jacobitz, Brian (Jen) Taplin, Ryan and Rose Rohde, and Isaiah and Josh Schultz, sister, Betty Plath of Fairwater, brother, Clifford (Rose) Klawitter of Wittenberg, sister in law, Dorothy Jacobitz of Fond du Lac, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, one son, Wayne, one son in law, Jerry Blanchard, two brothers and their wives, Corky (Dorothy) Klawitter and Chuck (Arlene) Klawitter,



VISITATION: Monday, June 18, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Monday, June 18, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Shari Routh officiating.
