Lorraine Schaub

Lorraine (Mullenbach) Willis Schaub, 88, of Woodlands Senior Park, 77 Wisconsin American Drive, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 10, 1922, in Marytown, the daughter of John and Lidwina (Kempf) Mullenbach. On July 12, 1943, she married Cyrus J. Willis at St. Mary's Church in Marytown. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1951. She later married Joseph A. Schaub on February 27, 1954, at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac, and he preceded her in death on May 22, 1990. Lorraine was a member of Holy Family Parish. She was formerly at the Hob Nob, the Town House, and Green Acres as a waitress. She was a member of the Empire Social Club and the Christ Child Society. Surviving are two daughters, Betty (Joseph) Willis Sabel and Mary (Francis) Willis Sterr, both of Quinney, two sons, John (Patricia) Schaub of Marshfield, and Steven (Special Friend Mary Konen) Schaub of Fond du Lac, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Leona (Robert) Nett of Marytown and Evelyn (Robert) Freund of Johnsburg, five sisters-in-law, Betty (Marvin) Kraus of Mt. Calvary, Evelyn (Lou) Pavilech of Mountain Home, AR, Dolores Berger of Fond du Lac, Hattie (Frank) Watson of Spooner, and Liz (Special Friend Paul Kranig) Tautges of Gold Canyon, AZ, a brother-in-law, Bill Hackbarth of Armstrong, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, three brothers, Herbert, Marvin, and James, and a sister, Anita Klapperich.



Visitation for Mrs. Lorraine (Mullenbach) Willis Schaub will be on Saturday, April 10, from 9:30 to 11 am at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Saturday at the church. The Rev. Carmelo Giuffre will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established in Lorraine's name.
