Louann M. Batterman, 60 of N4128 Hwy 175, Fond du Lac, died May 5, 2008 at her residence. She was born the daughter of Eugene and Mary Ann Kort Ewert on July 9, 1947 in Wausau, WI. On September 10, 1966 she married Robert L. Batterman at St. Mary's Church, Lomira. Louann was a member of Sons of Zebedee, St. John's Church, Byron. She was a homemaker all of her life and also worked on the family farm. She owned and operated Saguaro Inn, North Fond du Lac for six years. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening and selling her produce at the farm and loved spending time with her family.SURVIVORS: her husband, Robert; two daughters, Michelle (Louis) Huhn, Fond du Lac and Kim Batterman, Sheboygan; one son, Jason (Emily) Batterman, Fond du Lac; two brothers, Tom (Carla) Ewert, Fond du Lac and Jerry Ewert, Black River Falls; a special aunt, Bernice Kozlowski, Wausau. She was preceded in death by her parents and step father, Earl Lutzke.



VISITATION: will be from 5 "“ 8 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again at church on Friday from 10 "“ 11 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Sons of Zebedee, St. John's Church, Byron. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.
