Louis D. Possehl

Louis D. Possehl, age 84, of Fond du Lac, was called home to be with his savior on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 after a long battle with heart disease. He was born on August 13, 1931 in Chicago, IL, and adopted by Louis A.C. and Irene (Regenberg) Possehl. Louis served his county for three years in the U.S.A.F. during the Korean Conflict. On August 4, 1951 he married Gloria Johnson in Harvey, IL. Their marriage was blessed with three sons.



Louis was employed by the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad for thirty-two years. He is survived by three sons, Christopher (Barbara) Possehl of Brownsville, Rick (Lonna) Possehl of Hudson, WI, Joseph (Camille) of Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Gloria on March 27, 2008; and one brother, Robert V. Possehl of Dover, FL.



Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 1-2:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.



Memorials may be directed to Chris Possehl and he will donate everything to Disabled American Veterans Charity.
