Louise C. Tank

Louise C. Tank, 88, formerly of 6756 Fond du Lac Road, Winnebago County, died Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she had been a resident for the past six years. She was born November 7, 1919, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Alex and Marie Rudolph Schmall. On December 18, 1937, she married Clarence Tank at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1979. Mrs. Tank was a member of Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran. She and her husband owned and operated Tank's Bar for 16 years.Surviving is a daughter, Judy Clark of North Fond du Lac, a son, William (Judy) Tank of Oshkosh, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister-in-law, Mary Schmal of Fond du Lac, nieces, and nephews, further survives her. Her parents, husband, a daughter, Beverly Schumacher, a son-in-law, Arlie Schumacher, two grandchildren, Donna and Douglas Tank preceded her in death.



Private family services were held on Sunday, December 2, 2007, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Rosenberg officiated. Burial was in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
