Louise K. Martin, 90, of the Town of Forest, died Sunday, August 16, 2009, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born January 29, 1919, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Joseph and Julia Birschbach Lefeber. On May 28, 1940, she married Jerome Huberty at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 1971. She later married William Martin at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Dotyville on September 7, 1974 and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1983 Louise was a member of Shepherd of The Hills Catholic Church and was formerly employed by Wells Manufacturing. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, and playing cards. Surviving are four daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Loop of Brandon, Betty (Special Friend Mel Cook) Halle of Fond du Lac, Dorothy "Dee Dee" (Dave) Nett of Johnsburg, and Kathy (Dave Schneider) Huberty of Nekoosa, two sons-in-law, Dennis (Alice) Roberts and LeRoy Krenn, both of Fond du Lac, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Betty Koenigs of Fond du Lac, and Dorothy (Ambrose) Koenigs of Johnsburg, three sisters-in-law, Elaine Lefeber, Julie Huberty, and Marguerite "Tootie" Huberty, all of Fond du Lac, and a special friend, Ken Fisher of Dotyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, an infant son, Jerome Huberty Jr., two daughters, Mary Lou Krenn, and Rose Roberts, two sisters, Lucille Loehr and Julietta Konen, two brothers, Elmer and Harold Lefeber, three brothers-in-laws, Louis Loehr,Francis Koenigs and Francis Konen and two sisters-in-law, Margaret and Beatrice Lefeber.



Visitation for Mrs. Louise K. Martin will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, from 1 to 3 pm at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 pm on Wednesday at the church. The Rev. Joseph Juknialis will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Dotyville. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope.
