Lucille A. Trester, 91, of N8346 Deadwood Point Road, Town of Taycheedah, died at her residence on September 2, 2006. She was born July 11, 1915, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Walter and Anna Karrels Harder. On December 16, 1938, she married Richard Trester in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1991. She was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and received her Registered Nursing Degree from Marquette University in 1937. She and her husband moved to Fond du Lac in 1983 when they purchased her parents' lake home, which was built in 1947. Lucille was involved in the Deadwood Point Beach community for over 55 years. Her fond memories include the enjoyment of the view over Lake Winnebago, sunsets, visiting with friends and family, playing card games, especially bridge at the Fond du Lac Senior Center and the Community Center at Mesa, AZ during the winter season. Surviving is a son, Paul (Ellen) Trester of Encinitas, CA, a daughter, Barbara (Frank) Heinrich of Sierra Vista, AZ, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, an older brother, Russell (Elizabeth "Libby") Harder of Sturgeon Bay, WI, and a son-in-law, Stanley Czupryna, of Schaumburg, IL. Her parents, husband, and a daughter, Catherine Czupryna, preceded her in death.
There will be no visitation or services; however, Paul and Barbara will honor their mother and share fond memories with her friends in the area and in Arizona during the next year. Cremation will take place and inurnment of cremated remains will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee in the summer of 2007. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
