Lucille E. Birschbach

September 8, 1925 — October 24, 2008

Lucille E. Birschbach, age 83 passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Villa Loretta Nursing Home. Lucille had resided at Villa Rosa for 2 ½ years prior to being a resident of the nursing home. She farmed with her husband and her son in the St. Peter area. Lucille was born on September 8, 1925 the daughter of Albin and Julia Fuhrmann Wagner. On May 6, 1946 she married Jerome F. Birschbach at St. John The Baptist Church, Johnsburg. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1965. Lucille was a life-long member of Holy Family- St. Peter's Church, St. Peter and of the Christian Women's Society. She was of strong faith and loved the rosary. Lucille loved her family was an outstanding cook, avid flower gardener, enjoyed making crafts for her family, traveling, the Milwaukee Brewers, and enjoyed music and singing with her nephew Kenny B.SURVIVORS: She is survived by nine children, three sons, Gerald Birschbach, St. Peter, John (Sue) Birschbach, Fond du Lac, Paul (Sarah) Birschbach, Stockbridge, six daughters, Kate (Mark) Puls, Wauwatosa, Darlene (John) Hau, Brothertown, Rose Simon, Howard's Grove, Mary (Al) Feldner, Marytown, Betty (Paul) Mand, Fond du Lac, Marcia (Bruce) Lawson, West Allis. Seventeen grandchildren, Sara Puls-Wendorff, Andy Puls, Julie, Christopher, Jeremy Hau, Jamie Simon, Dan Feldner, Laura Rector, Angie Steffes, Katrina Feldner, Patrick, Rachel Mand, Michael, Thomas and Nicci Birschbach, Peter, Lily Birschbach, and three great-grandchildren, Angelise, Norah, and Ethan. Lucille is further survived by one sister, Lillian (Bruno) Wagner Kraus, St.Peter, sister and brother-in-laws, Janelle Wagner, Kiel, Jeannine Birschbach, Eden, Loretta Blatz, Stockbridge, Clarissa (Elmer) Freund, Fond du Lac, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Bernetta Wagner Birschbach, one brother, Albin Wagner, Jr. and special friend Harry Steers.



VISISTATION: Visitation will be held Monday, October 27, 2008 from 3 to 8 P.m. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Holy Family St. Peter's Catholic Church-St. Peter. Reverend Michael Bertram OFM, Cap. Will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of services at the church.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established at Villa Rosa/ Villa Loretto, Mount Calvary." The family would like to extend their appreciation for the care and support from the staff at Villa Rosa and Villa Loretto and the Sister Servants of Christ the King. We would also like to thank Dr. Strong and Dr. Moen and staff for their care and compassion."Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
