Lucille F. Mecklenburg

Lucille Frances (Will) Mecklenburg, 99 of Fond du Lac, was called home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 and can now be reunited with her beloved husband after 50 years and are now together forever .Lucille had been a resident of the Liberty House in Fond du Lac for the past 1 ½ years. She was born on March 9, 1915 in St. Cloud the daughter of Joseph and Helen Sippel Will. On April 5, 1939 she married Walter Mecklenburg in Fond du Lac. Together they worked the Mecklenburg mink ranch on Grove Street for 25 years .Lucille worked for Schreiner’s Restaurant for over 25 years retiring in 1987.





SURVIVORS: Lucille is survived by four children, Carol (Merle) Neuman, Waupaca, Geraldine (Kenneth) Walker, Mary (Bruce) Watts, and James (Ellen) Mecklenburg all of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one brother, Leroy Will, Waupaca. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, daughter Shirley Diener, a son Richard Mecklenburg, one sister Phyllis Propson and three brothers, Ralph, Jerome, and Gilbert Will.





VISITATION: Friends may call on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the traditional services with inurnment in Estabrooks Cemetery at a later date.
