Lucille M. Denis, age 86, formerly of the Fond du Lac area and a resident ofWauwatosa, died Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, Wauwatosa. She was born October 5, 1921 in Green Bay the daughter of Elmer and Helen Hoebreckx Barrette. On February 10, 1945 she married James Paul Denis in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1997. Lucille was employed with Wisconsin Electric Company in Milwaukee for 25 years retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. John The Baptist Church, Johnsburg. Lucille enjoyed being with her family anticipating the two great-grandchildren.She is survived by three children, James (Mary) Denis, Milwaukee, Therese Hamilton, Mequon, and Peggy (Donald) Sklenar, Sussex, six grandchildren, Angie, James (his wife Michelle), Ryan, Meghan (her husband Carlos), Michael and Mara. A sister, Laverne Vander Geeten, Green Bay, further survives Lucille. Her parents, husband, infant daughter Benita, son-in-law, Kirk Hamilton and one sister, Elaine Powers preceded Lucille in death.
VISITATION: Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. at St. John The Baptist Church, Johnsburg. Reverend Joseph Coerber will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Town of Taycheedah. Masses would be appreciated.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
