Lucille M. Messner

Lucille M. Messner, 105, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 12, 2013 at All About Life Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 22, 1908 in the Town of Waupun, the daughter of Adolph and Jane Onk Ollerman. On June 12, 1929 she married Harold Messner at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. Harold preceded her in death on July 21, 1976. Lucille was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Oakfield and was a former Ladies Aide member. She enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, making candy, baking, and traveling.She is survived by one son, David (Jeanette) Messner, Oakfield; four grandchildren, Steve (Kelly) Messner, Oakfield, Cheryl Stueber, Oakfield, Mark Messner, Fond du Lac, Scott (Jennifer) Messner, St. Germaine; seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, DuWayne Messner; four sisters; six brothers.



The visitation will be held from 9:30 "“ 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Oakfield. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Oakfield, with Rev. Christopher Goelzer officiating. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorials are appreciated to St. Luke's Church and School or WLA in Lucille's name.
