Lucille P. Beuk, 94, formerly of 492 N. Hickory Street and a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past two years died Sunday, May 29, 2011. She was born in Marblehead, January 27, 1917, the daughter of Patrick and Angelina Romalia Carlone. On November 3, 1943, she married Frank J. Beuk, Sr. in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1998 Lucille was a member of Holy Family Parish. She and her husband were Foster Parents, opening the first group home in Wisconsin. She enjoyed canning, cake decorating, and was known as the "Pepper Lady". Surviving is a son, Frank, Jr. (Sandy) Beuk of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Renee Kiefer of Campbellsport and Ginger Beuk of Oshkosh, five grandchildren, Dawn (Steve) Hagens, Craig Beuk, Michele, Angela, and Kelly Kiefer, five great-grandchildren, Curtis, Danny, and Molly Hagens, Alex Beuk, and Mia Kiefer, a sister, Shirley Baker of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, two brothers, Norman and Raymond Carlone, and a sister, Marjorie Rock, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Lucille P. Beuk will be on Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at the church on Saturday. Reverend Luke Strand will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
