LUELLA "LUE" L. SCHUMACHERLuella "Lue" L. Schumacher, 73 of Fond du Lac and a resident of Grancare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center since June 2006., died Sunday, October 8, 2006. She was born in the Town of Eldorado on January 20, 1933 the daughter of Edward and Verona Henke Albrecht. On October 25, 1952 she married Clarence I. Schumacher at St. John's Lutheran Church, Town of Nekimi. Clarence preceded her in death on December 25,1980. Lue was employed with Wells Manufacturing and Bestt Rollr from where she retired in 1998. She was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. Lue enjoyed being with her grandchildren, bowling, playing cards, sightseeing and was a very good cook. She was an avid spectator of her grandchildren's sporting activities. Mostly, Luella will be remembered for her endless supply of love that she shared freely with her family and friends. Survivors include her four children, Dennis (Susie) Schumacher, Eldorado, Sherry (John) Bartel, Fond du Lac, Rhonda (Mike) Haller, Fond du Lac, Kathy (Scott) Eggert, Menasha, nine grandchildren, Jamie, Kayla, Kourtney, Ashley, Dylan, Kaine, Pam, Cherie, and Kim, six great-grandchildren, six brothers and sisters, Lois (Vern )Thelke, Ripon, Edward Albrecht, Van Dyne, Rheinhardt (Kay) Albrecht, Oshkosh, Dale (Pat) Albrecht, Fond du Lac, Robert, (JoAnne) Albrecht, Van Dyne, Carol Albrecht, Fond du Lac, two sister-in-laws, Ruth Albrecht, Eldorado, and Bess Albrecht, Fond du Lac, five brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Elaine Albrecht, Van Dyne, Jerry (Dorothy) Ellner, Pelican Lake, WI, Lowell (Alice) Schumacher, Rosendale, Dave (Marlene) Hinz, Van Dyne, Jerry (Nancy) Schumacher, Arizona, nieces and nephews. Lue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence, daughter-in-law Sherry Schumacher, granddaughter Heidi Schumacher, infant brother Carl, Wilber (Betty) Albrecht, Arno Albrecht, LaVerna Albrecht, Holdina (Karl) Koudal, David Albrecht, Chester Schumacher, Arlie (Bev) Schumacher and Orlin Albrecht.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. Reverend Douglas V. Hedman will officiate. Burial will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
