LYLE E. BALTHAZORLyle E. Balthazor, age 86, of the town of Friendship, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center. Lyle was born on April 8, 1918 in the town of Friendship, the only son of Joseph and Barbara Mand Balthazor. He married Marjorie Pollock on September 28, 1946 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. Lyle graduated from North Fond du Lac High School in 1935. He farmed with his father for many years before opening Lyle's Auto Body in 1946. With his love of polka music he played in several local bands for nearly sixty years including most recently Leota and the Boys. He also was a past member of Presentation of the BVM Holy Name Society and an usher, NFDL Businessmen's Association and the FDL Auto Body Association. Lyle also served as manager of the St. Vincent de Paul Society store for over twenty-three years. SURVIVORS: Lyle is survived by his wife Marjorie and their three sons, Gary, Bruce (Debbie), and Chuck "Charlie" (Robin), all of Fond du Lac, six grandchildren, Amy (Andy) Hughes, Ann Balthazor, Joe (Kelly) Balthazor, Jacob Balthazor, Corey (Jenny) Arthurs and Brian Arthurs. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Christian and Cody Arthurs and Hannah Hughes. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Balthazor.



VISITATION: Friday, March 4, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac with the Reverend John Simon and the Reverend Robert Berghammer officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the North Fond du Lac St. Vincent de Paul Society or All About Life Rehabilitation Center.
