Lyle F. "Stiede" Stiedaman Lyle F. "Stiede" Stiedaman, 77, of W7457 Town Line Circle, Town of Eldorado, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 10, 1934, in the Town of Eldorado, the son of Otto and Leona Young Stiedaman. On August 18, 1977, he married Linda Raube in Fond du Lac. He was employed by Eden Stone since 1973, retiring in 1996. Prior to this, he worked for Bob Geib Glass, and his brother, Otto, for many years. Following his retirement, he worked for Pro-Builders of Lomira. He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard, serving for nine years. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything to do with nature. He bowled many years in leagues at West Side Lanes. Lyle was a special man to many people, and had many, many friends. Surviving is his wife, Linda, four daughters, Christine (Rodney) Breselow of Brownsville, Pammie Eldridge of Fond du Lac, Ethel (Jeff) Fritz of Green Lake, and Alice (Special Friend Dale Roen) Spear of Fond du Lac, 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Otto (Alice) Stiedaman of Fond du Lac, special nieces, Mary Pautsch of Beaver Dam, Ann (Tom) Wagner and their son Jeremy of Fond du Lac, special family member, Jeffrey (Mimi) Spear of Fond du Lac, three special friends, Richard Batchelder of Fond du Lac, Alvin (Barb) Dehring of Fond du Lac, and Marvin (Gerry) Dehring of Eldorado, and other relatives and friends. His parents, a twin brother, Donald, a sister, Margaret King, a brother-in-law, Robert King, two nephews, Jon and Joel Stiedaman, and great-nephew, Ryan Pautsch preceded him in death.
Visitation for Lyle F. "Stiede" Stiedaman will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, April 14th, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Street, North Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 11 AM at the church on Thursday. The Rev. Thomas Behnke will officiate and cremation will follow the services. The family would like to thank the staff of Agnesian Hospice for the care, compassion, and support that was given to Lyle and his family.
