Lynn A. Zinniel

Lynn Ann (Warner) Zinniel, 61, of North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her residence with her husband by her side. She was born July 27, 1956 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Robert and Nancy Rahl Warner. Lynn graduated from Goodrich High School, Class of 1974. On February 29, 1992 she married Edward “Pete” A. Zinniel in Fond du Lac. Lynn worked in the kitchen at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for over 40 years, retiring in 2016. She enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening, fishing, and spending time in the North Woods.



She is survived by her husband, Edward “Pete” Zinniel; one brother, Scott (Sue) Warner of Fond du Lac; one sister, Leila (Todd) Gitter of Lamartine; two brothers-in-law, Walter (Ellen) Zinniel of Fond du Lac and James Zinniel of Omro; three nieces, Stacey (Matthew) Matuszewski and their children, Holden and Carson, Bethany (significant other, Tom) Warner, and Paige (fiancé, Justin) Gitter; other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and father and mother-in-law, Ed and Audrey Zinniel.



Private family services will be held and entombment will take place at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.



Memorials in Lynn’s name may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope.



The family extends a special thank you to the staff of the Central Wisconsin Cancer Center and Agnesian Hospice for the care given to Lynn and her family.
