Lynn M. Konopka

Lynn M. Konopka, 50, found peace and rest in her Savior's arms on Tuesday, December 20,2005 at her residence in Fond du Lac. Lynn was born in Milwaukee on February 25,1955 the daughter of Richard and Grace Buscher Schlink. On August 30,1975 she married John Konopka in West Allis. Lynn was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School and Milwaukee Area Technical College receiving a degree in respiratory therapy. She worked from her heart and truly loved working with children as she was employed with the Fond du Lac School District as an Instructional Assistant for children with special needs. Lynn was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafting, scrap booking, gardening and kids.SURVIVIORS: husband, John Konopka, Fond du Lac, a daughter, Rachel Konopka, Fond du Lac, four brothers and sisters, Rick (Christine) Schlink, Wauwatosa, Kathy Wild, Chicago, IL, Sandy (Fred) Soto, Mukwonago, Jenny (Paul) Milkovich, New Berlin, six nieces and nephews, Alex, Brittany, Zachary, Sydney, Max, and Lia. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents.



VISISTATION: Tuesday, December 27,2005 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church with Reverend Joel Gaertner officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services with inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Lynn's name.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
