Madeline M. "Mattie" Marlowe, 94, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at All About Life Nursing and Rehabilitation and Center. She was born August 30, 1917 in Foster City, MI, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth DeHart. On April 23, 1936 she married Earl T. Marlowe in Foster City, MI. Madeline was a dedicated member of Holy Family Parish and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her family immensely and loved to sing and dance. Later in life, she enjoyed traveling extensively. She will always be remembered for being able to brighten a room with her smile. SURVIVORS: two daughters, Yvonne (James) Sommerfeldt, Fond du Lac and Judy (James) Pitts, Greenville, PA; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; one daughter, Noreen Kellett; one son, Lawrence Marlowe; one grandson, Timothy Marlowe; and fourteen brothers and sisters.
