Mae A. Surges, 89 formerly of 388 North Seymour Street and a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the nursing home. She was born on May 3, 1925 in Jennings, Wisconsin the daughter of Frederick T. and Mary J. Rosicka Kruger. On September 17, 1949 she married Carroll J. Surges at St. Frederick’s Catholic Church, Cudahy. Carroll preceded her in death on May 20, 2013. Mae worked at Cudahy Brother’s Meat Packing as a shipping clerk. She was a member of Holy Family Parish- Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed bowling, sewing and especially her nieces and nephews.
SURVIVORS: Mae is survived by one sister, Janet Jones-Thompson, North Fond du Lac, and one brother, Dennis Kruger, Cudahy. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kruger, Milwaukee, nieces and nephews Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant sister Dorothy, a sister Alice Marcoe, one brother Fred Kruger, and one sister-in-law Marie Kruger.
VISITATION: Friends may call on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Uecker- Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Liturgy of The Word Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at The Chapel of The Risen Christ, Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
