Maleda C. Baker

Maleda Catherine Baker, age 91, formerly of 377 3rd St. Fond du Lac for sixty-one years, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at St. Francis Home. She was born on November 25, 1920, St. Cloud, the daughter of Engelbert and Marie (Will) Mischo. On May 20, 1944 she married Victor F. Baker at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2005. Maleda enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family.SURVIVORS: five children, Sandra Baker of Fond du Lac, Gary (Yvonne) Baker of Fond du Lac, Daniel Baker of Minneapolis, MN, Bruce Baker of Fond du Lac, Linda (Bob) Karl of Cedar Rapids, IA, seven grandchildren, Tom (Karen) Lemiesz, Jeff Lemiesz, Christopher (Keetra) Baker, Cory (Wendy) Baker, Luke (Sunny) Rekve, Jacob Baker, and Travis (Laura Lee) Baker, ten great-grandchildren, Georgia, Riley, Austin, Trevin, Drake, Aiden, Sadee, Graycee, Jonah, and Tatum, three sisters, Rita Mischo of North Fond du Lac, Donna Entringer of St. Cloud, Charlene (Donald) Steiner of New Holstein, sister in law, Marie Bye of Fond du Lac, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 brothers and their wives, Fred (Betty) Mischo, Howard (Helen) Mischo, and Marvin (Jean) Mischo.



VISITATION: Monday, April 16, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Church-Holy Family Parish, 59 E. Merrill Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Church-Holy Family Parish. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
