Marcella A. "Sally" Funk

Marcella A. "Sally" Funk, age 82, formerly of 220 Southlake Circle, went to her eternal rest with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. She was born on August 10, 1921 the daughter of Peter and Loretta Dieringer Straub. On April 3, 1940 she married Donald B. Funk Sr. at St. Matthew's Church in Campbellsport. He preceded her in death on November 5, 1985. She was a member of the Niam group, and Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed quilting at Holy Family, knitting, playing bingo, going on casino bus trips, and playing cards.SURVIVORS: one daughter Carol Bacon of North Fond du Lac, Donald B. (Diane) Funk Jr. of North Fond du Lac, James L. (Linn) Funk of Fond du Lac, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, three sisters, Esther Nigh of Plymouth, Rose Hatland of Campbellsport, Bernadine Bodden of Kewaskum, she is further survived by brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, one son in law Robert Bacon, five brothers, Norman, Kilian, Alvin, Norman, and Bernard Straub, and three sisters, Irene Wietor, Bernice Volland, and Alice Strobel.



VISITATION: Friday, May 14, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Family-St. Mary's Church with the Reverend John Radetski officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 8:30 A.M. until the time of Service. Entombment will follow at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
