Marcella M. Baker

Marcella M. Baker, 94, formerly of 303 Linden Street, died Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the Fond du Lac Healthcare Center where she had been a resident since 1995. She was born January 27, 1915, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Berdella Oliver Murphy. On November 30, 1942, she married Donald A. Baker at St. Joseph's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1990. Mrs. Baker was formerly employed by the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for 12 years as a nursing assistant. Surviving is a son, Michael (Cathy) Baker of Oakfield, two grandsons, Kevin and Brian Baker, both of Oakfield, and a brother, William (Geraldine) Murphy of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Alice Baker, five brothers, and four sisters.



Visitation for Mrs. Marcella M. Baker will be on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, from 10 to 11 am at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word for Christian Burial services will be at 11 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
