Margaret "Marge" M. Waskow, 73, a resident of the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the past month, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013. She was born November 11, 1939, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Omar and Rose Boushley Steinmetz. On November 12, 1986, she married Paul R. Waskow in Fond du Lac. Marge was formerly employed by Frenchy's Supper Club, Sambo's, Stretch, Country Kitchen, and Oasis restaurants. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and in her childhood, riding horses. Marge was a member of Holy Family Parish. Surviving is her husband, Paul, two sons, Jim (Kathy) Hall of North Fond du Lac, and David (Special Friend Kathy Smith) Hall of Pickett, three grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher, and Jim Jr., two step-daughters, DeAnna (Jim) Altwies of Waukesha, and Chrise (Tom) Kruger of Markesan, a step-son, Michael (Susan) Waskow of Watertown, two step-grand-daughters, Mary (Troy) Hall and Julie Shryers, both of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and her special friend, Marilyn Shady, of Van Dyne. Her parents, two brothers, Eugene and Omar, Jr., and a step-son, David Waskow, preceded her in death.
Visitation for Margaret "Marge" M. Waskow will be on Sunday, August 25, 2013, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Monday, August 26th, from 9 to 10 AM at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 678 Western Avenue, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM at the church on Monday. Burial will follow in Rosendale Cemetery. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.ueckerwitt.com
